Komeo is Growing!
We are excited to officially introduce you to our new Missions and Communications Coordinator, Hannah McNeill!
Jerome and Shanna Crawford met Hannah in Sierra Leone in 2021 while she was serving with another ministry. When God unexpectedly closed that door for her, Hannah began helping with administrative tasks and mission trip preparation on a volunteer basis in March 2022. However, with her educational background and experience in communications, it was clear by August that she was creating momentum for our all-volunteer organization that we could not sustain without her. So, we took a leap of faith and hired her as Komeo's first paid staff member!
In only a few short months, Hannah's list of accomplishments propelled Komeo into a season of growth. She started by helping us better communicate our ministry focus through cohesive branding, strategic print materials and publicity efforts; she designed a new website and updated our sponsorship ministry bios and photos; she organized our on-boarding process for mission teams by creating a trip application and training documents; and she is currently focused on improving our social media presence. Hannah also planned and facilitated our first vacation bible school (VBS) program for the kids at our orphanages.
There is only one small obstacle in our way -- as an organization with very little overhead, we have no extra funding for administrative salaries. This has not deterred Hannah! Without hesitation, she set out eagerly to fundraise her own salary as best she can. But now we're asking for YOUR help!
In order to keep Hannah on staff, we must raise $30,000/year for her salary and an additional $12,000/year for travel expenses, as she will be co-leading mission teams to Sierra Leone three times per year with extended stays to work on administrative and organizational tasks at the orphanage. This means we are full of faith that God will help us raise at least $3,500 per month!

The Lord, in His sovereignty, is often working on many things that we don't see, and our "chance" encounter in 2021 with Hannah was one of those! Your gift to Hannah's missionary fund will sustain her position and help us keep growing and meeting the needs of more than 150 orphans in Sierra Leone. But more importantly, it will help us continue sharing the richness of the Gospel with one of the most spiritually impoverished nations on earth!
